Objective: Build the plan and business model of the eco and ethnic tourism project together with the Ecomanglar community association in the island.
Institutions involved: University of Los Andes professors and students of the Environmental Management Master's program, Ecomanglar community association, La Plata community council, Bahía Málaga community.
Results: Collaborative design of the plan and business model for Ecomanglar. Capacity building on the use of the “Business Model Canvas” tool, and the definition of the target audience, the services to be provided (value proposal), the organizational model to be managed, the needs and rules for a sustainable tourism, the communication channels, and key allies. The collaborative methodology aligned all stakeholders in a shared mission and vision for community entrepreneurship.
