Objective: Estimate the economic benefit generated by the Florverde Sustainable Flowers® certification companies, through the design and validation of a set of economic indicators.
Institutions involved: Flower growing companies, certification bodies, flower industry representatives, experts in flower’s abroad distribution and commercialization, government bodies, NGOs. 
Results: The Florverde Sustainable Flowers® certification generates three types of value among certified companies. Created value comes from environmental risk management practices, organizational capacities development and market access. Formulated indicators allowed measurement of benefits coming from the process standardization of information collection, costs and productivity’s  measurements, indicator’s comparison over time, identification of hidden costs, among others.
