Objective: Increase competitiveness and promote environmental improvements among companies from the poultry sector, through capacity building processes in Cleaner Production.
Institutions involved: National Federation of Poultry Farmers in Colombia (FENAVI)
Results: Development of 15 cleaner production projects, with savings in water, energy and / or waste generation. Strengthened companies’ capacities in the application of cleaner production tools such as the eco-map, eco-balance, analysis of inefficiency costs, allowing processes optimization and efficient management of economic, natural and social resources.
