Objective: Guide the Ministry of Production and the Ministry of Environment of Peru in leading the interinstitutional collaboration with other ministries to design policy instruments to facilitate the adoption of Circular Economy models in the country.

Results: 131 representatives from PRODUCE, MINAM, other ministries (housing, agriculture, exports), and municipalities participated in capacity building programs to create a common understanding to facilitate interinstitutional collaboration for the implementation of Circular Economy Mechanisms. 11 action plans were designed to develop policy instrument to promote Circular Economy. 6 projects were formulated with La Molina, Pueblo Libre, Callao, Lima and San Juan de Lurigancho municipalities regarding PET waste management. 15 cases were documented to showcase Peruvian circular economy initiatives.
