Objective: to develop 3 reports on the institutional environment to drive circular economy in Colombia, case studies in eco-industrial parks and proposals to scale industrial symbiosis in the country.

Institutions involved: Ministry of Economy and Finance of Korea, Korea University Research and Business Foundation, Ministry of Environment in Colombia, other public institutions, the Latin American Coalition for Circular Economy, Eco-industrial Parks, etc.

Results: (1) Investigation of the institutional environment for Colombia’s current environmental protection system and circular economy; (2) Investigation of the context, influencing factors and stakeholders for industrial symbiosis in Colombia; (3) Proposal of strategies for circular economy and capacity-building activities; (4) Support in the mission to share knowledge between Korean experts and Colombian key stakeholders
